I headed to Fresno for the www.CCKRA.com kart racing event at the Fresno Big Fairgrounds. The CCKRA has a temporary track that is in a vacant lot. The kart track had very nice bathrooms, easy access in and out, and easy viewing of the race track. If you plan on racing one of the big Las Vegas events in November, either Rok the Rio or the SuperNationals, look this track up for a testing facility. Temporary track on a vacant lot surface, it is perfect testing.
I also meet up with Michael Nava and his family, https://mnsportphotos.com/ , who you will see more of at our Norcal promoted events. They were on hand shooting film (or gb) and recording video.
I was also able to drive with Team Visalia and had a blast in my TBKart S55 SwedeTech Honda CR125 package towed by my Chevy HD2500 and a Interstate trailer. It was fueled up by Pilot 89 Octane. Hospitality was flowing with Stella Artios and jerky snacks from Casa Guzman.
It was a great day! The track was fun to drive, even though I really sucked. Everyone I came across had a great big smile on their face. It was fun just to go drive and hang out with some good friends.
On a slightly serious note, I am looking for sponsors for various programs with Norcal Karters. Some programs include highlighting kart track in the NorCal region or immediately surrounding areas like Central California, Southern Oregon, and the Reno/Sparks tracks.
If you have an idea on how to bring more value to the average karting, please contact me and let me know. The business model of Norcal Karters is to grow the sport of karting, together.

Until the next racing event.
What should I do? Head South to cover CalSpeed and the combined Rok event or Race my Briggs at Dixon Gold Rush?
