The Limited 125 Shifters of NorCal is a group of recreational shifter kart racers that no longer have a consistent local place to race due to equipment changes, rule changes, or budget restraints that don’t allow for chasing regional and national level shifter series or championships. This group is open to all 125cc Shifter drivers as long as the equipment meets the current safety standards set by each track or sanctioning bodies.

As the group grows, it may be required to bring the class back to the original intended concept of “limited” 125ccc Shifter racing by means of intake and/or exhaust restrictions.

The group is open to older Honda CR125 engines and other brand motorcross engines, European ICC or KZ Package, Vortex Rok, IAME shifters, etc. Again, the whole concept is to get your shifter kart out of your garage and on to the racing track in an affordable and fun manner.
