The Norcal 80cc Shifter Group is a large group of recreational karters looking to explore different tracks, while competing with friends.

We have >75 drivers in 80 shifters who want to race, so there will be a strong turn out at every race this year! Drivers from all levels of experience, and all ages from 19 years old to 70+ will be driving with us! If you only come to one race, or come to all of them, our goal is to have clean, hard racing with friends with a priority on having fun.

Our goal for each race is to have separate “A” and “B” groups, with each group racing on their own, with a lap time threshold separating the two, so there will be fun racing to be had for drivers of all lap times and experience levels! We will also be raffling off sponsor prizes at every race so anyone can win some cool stuff. Don’t be intimidated or worried about lap times, just come out and have fun!

We will also try to have all the 80 shifter drivers pit in the same corner of the parking lot at each race, that way if you show up solo, or have any questions or need help, someone will be happy to lend a hand and hangout.
